Trude Østdal: This is a page where I collect important articles, pictures and other sources for my diploma in architecture, at the Oslo school of architecture and design. My topic for the diploma focuses on the relationship between culture and nature. In my diploma I will work with a field of huts close to a skiresort in Hemsedal in Hallingdal, in Norway. The reason for the choice of theme is both of personal interest, as well as the challenge to look at the relationship between nature and the users of such a recreational place. I am also interested in looking at how to develop more comprehensive plans and building typologies in the mountains of Norway.
